Talent Show 2014
Auditions: Saturday, April 1st or Sunday, April 2nd - Community Recreation Center 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal: Friday, May 5th - Clifton High School
Contest: Saturday, May 6th 6:30 p.m. Showtime - Clifton High School
Join the Clifton Recreation Department and Clifton Mustang Pride for the 6th Annual “Clifton’s Got Talent” Contest at Clifton High School.  The event is open to all Clifton students grades K – 12.  Auditions are required and a limited number of acts will be selected to participate in the contest.  A certificate, recreation dollars and a ribbon will be given to each individual who auditions.  CASH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED at the contest for winners in several categories, courtesy of Clifton Mustang Pride.    You must complete the required Clifton's Got Talent Contest Application and Parental Consent Form to participate.  The application is available below under Links & Forms.  Send your application to the Recreation Department via mail: 900 Clifton Avenue, fax: (973) 815-0599 or email: doliver@cliftonnj.org.  You must also call the Recreation Department at (973) 470-5956 to set up an audition time for one of the dates listed above.  Individuals must be pre-registered to audition. Once auditions are complete individuals will be notified if they have been selected to compete in the contest. All individuals selected for the contest must attend the mandatory dress rehearsal. Maximum time per act is four (4) minutes.  All performances, costumes and song lyrics must be appropriate for all ages to view.  This contest is for amateurs only, so no professional acts.  Participants may only be in one solo or group performance. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Recreation Department at the cost of $10.00 per person beginning in April (all guests except individuals performing need a ticket).  All proceeds will be donated to Clifton Mustang Pride to support their fundraising efforts dedicated to the Pride of Clifton - the Children.  To find out more about Clifton Mustang Pride you can click on the links below.
